Our map below is centred on O'Connell Bridge which spans the River Liffey. The bridge also marks the boundary between the north (Dublin 1) and south (Dublin 2) city centre postal areas.
Dublin is the only area that has postal code areas. You will find that odd numbered areas are north of the River Liffey and even numbers are south of the river. There are two exceptions to this; Phoenix Park and a small area of land between the park and the river is in Dublin 8 and Chapelizod Village, which is in area 20, are both on the north side of the river.
So if you are looking for accommodation in Dublin, you can use the postal areas to re-centre the map in the appropriate point of interest.
Because there are so many hotels and other places to stay in Dublin, you may find it better to use our "mySelection" facility. This will be particularly useful if you are looking for (say) a 4 star hotel in Dublin city centre. Simply adjust the check boxes and, after a few seconds, the map and accommodation listing will adjust to your search requirements.
